Oh the day of love, seems like most either have a strong disdain for this day or a romantic lust for the possibilities of Cupid’s arrow. I simply love that I get to decorate my house in pink and red and that eating lots of chocolate is encouraged. My ‘Be Mine’ sign was quite easy to construct, I used 4×6 index cards in different shades of cream and painted each letter in Martha Stewart’s Love Bird from Michael’s Craft store. I’d like to send a verbal Valentine’s to Michael’s, I could spend all day there, I love that place.
My little tablescape did the job with glittery hearts and sweet vintage-inspired Valentine’s signs, but it’s nothing compared to the one I found on pinterest. I love the color scheme; the addition of soft turquoise softens the décor. (Apologies, I do not know whose board this is from, if you do, please contact me so I can credit appropriately.)

Flowers are must on Valentine’s whether you get them from your main squeeze or by them for yourself. They’re just so cheery and definitely take center stage on any table. I’d love to decorate with these.
Wishing I had this Rebecca Taylor dress to shine in, but that will just have to wait for another occasion. We’re doing Love Day a bit different this years, burger and fries style followed by these delicious brown-sugar cookies from Macrina Bakery! Now that, is love.
Happy Valentine’s, hope you’re caught by the love bug.
xoxo,
K.Korrine
